The U-Channel is designed to seal the width edge of the polycarbonate sheets. It is applied after the solid aluminum tape on the top width edge on the sheet, to close the edge and prevent debris & water ingress to the hollow space. It is applied after the vented aluminum tape on the bottom width edge. It also provides a clear finish to the edge of the sheet.
