When we first designed this piece, I kept coming back to the lighting I grew up around. Fixtures built from real metal, crafted by hand, meant to last decades, not seasons. And I wanted to capture that feeling again, but through the lens of the old-world coastal architecture I’ve fallen in love with: Spanish estates, coral-stone mansions, and the nautical heritage that shaped so much of early Miami.
This solid brass ceiling lamp is exactly that..
Inspired by the nautical brass ceiling lamps and lanterns used on 19th-century ships, it brings a piece of maritime history into the modern home. The same warm, directional glow that guided sailors across rough waters and marked the entrances of historic harbors. Brass was chosen back then because it survives everything: salt air, storms, time. That’s why we chose it now.
Whether it’s in a hallway, bedroom, kitchen, or entryway, it instantly adds character and depth without ever shouting for attention.
