:: Diamond shaped center medallion with interior outwardly directed germinating geometric blossom. Finials stemming from either end of the main medallion with diamond seed blossoms therein atop an open abrashed ground and lattice / trellis detailed corner spandrels loosely reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Colors and shades include: Faded cherry red, ivory, beige, silver, pale charcoal brown. Condition notes: Areas of pile, knot heads and foundation. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Secure sides, fully secured ends. Machine bound ends. The tips of the pile show sun fade and oxidation which differs greatly from the roots closer to the base of the foundation. For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use! Many years of enjoyment to come with this hand knotted Turkish Oushak rug made in Turkey circa 1960's vintage. Size measures 2'11" x 4'6".
