Long stemmed finials in simplistic geometric form atop an abrashed ground with splayed floral palmettes and lattice design corner spandrel overlays loosely reciprocating the contour of the main medallion. Colors and shades include: Madder root red, charcoal, copper, chestnut, pale saffron yellow, pale seafoam green, pink and more. Condition notes: Mostly even wear across to knot heads with hard isolated areas of foundation showing through. Most of the original side cord selvages are intact or restored. Fully secured sides and ends. Scattered expert restoration to the pile. One area of professional seaming to the edge approximately 4". For processing purposes, this and other rugs of the type may have painted numbers on the reverse side. Recently professionally cleaned ready for in-home use!
